THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan received a warm welcome upon his visit to Kuwait, where he will be part of various events for the next two days. Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah received the Chief Minister at Al Bayan Palace. Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Investment Authority, Dr Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem, was also present.

The meeting mentioned the historical ties between India and Kuwait. Sheikh Fahad praised the services provided by the Indian community, including Malayalees, in the reconstruction of Kuwait.
