President Trump on Thursday argued that prices on "everything" were lower on his watch despite inflation rates holding steady at 3 percent since he took office in January.
Trump used Democrats' Election Day wins on affordability -- the same issue his election victory last year is pegged to -- to argue that the affordability issue is “dead” for the Democrats.
In a TruthSocial post, the president cited the cost of Walmart's annual holiday meal, which according to the retailer’s website, serves 10 people for under $4 per person this year. Last year, Walmart’s holiday meal served eight people for less than $7 per person, according to their website.
