Ex-Manchester United striker Memphis Depay has reportedly been asked to leave behind his expensive hotel lifestyle by Brazilian club Corinthians.

The 31-year-old joined the Brazilian club in 2024 after leaving Atletico Madrid in a lucrative deal.

One of the perks was a luxury home at the Rosewood Hotel in Sao Paolo city centre.

It is understood the Dutchman has been living at the £35,000-a-month hotel with access to a private chef, security and an armoured car.

But that deal was struck under old management - and reports claim new club president Osmar Stabile is pulling the plug .

According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Stabile wants Depay to see that his situation is 'out of touch with the reality of the club'.
