All’s not fair.
Anthony Hemingway, who directed four episodes of Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair” legal drama starring Kim Kardashian, defended the widely-panned series against negative reviews on Wednesday.
The director insisted to the Hollywood Reporter that it’s impossible to “please everybody,” claiming he “personally enjoy[s]” the show.
Hemingway, who is also one of the project’s executive producers, explained to the outlet that “sometimes things take time” to “develop a taste for” them.
He said, “I did ‘The Wire.’ No one liked the show when it was out. They hated it. They didn’t watch it. Two people watched it every week. But it got to a point where it found a moment.
“I’m not comparing the show to ‘The Wire’ — let’s get that straight,” Hemingway clarified. “But it’s an example
