GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A homeless shelter in Glens Falls is gearing up for its annual event, which raises money to support programs that provide food, shelter, and more to the surrounding communities. The Open Door Mission's 5K Gobble Wobble Run kicks off the holiday season on November 27.

The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. from the Open Door Mission on Warren Street. Proceeds from the race directly benefit the emergency shelter and its Code Blue program, community kitchen, and recovery and housing services.
