After a successful official visit last weekend for the win over Purdue, 2026 three-star linebacker Aden Reeder has committed to Michigan. He was previously committed to Wisconsin, but announced his decommitment from the Badgers earlier this week.

The Wolverines just offered Reeder on Oct. 21, so linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary and company got him on campus very quickly for his first ever trip to the Big House.

Reeder committing to the Wolverines is a really smart move on paper when you look at the current depth chart. Ernest Hausmann and Jimmy Rolder are seniors and are out of eligibility after this season. Additionally, Michigan only had one other 2026 linebacker committed in Markel Dabney, another three-star who flipped from SMU over the summer.
