LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Las Vegas airport is awaiting direction from the Federal Aviation Administration as reports indicate it is set to see a reduction in air traffic, officials said.
Officials from Harry Reid International Airport stated on Thursday that they are aware of the Federal Aviation Administration’s announcement regarding a planned 10% reduction in air traffic, effective Friday, and are awaiting further information from the agency.
The report comes as sources told FOX5’s sister station, WANF, that the Las Vegas airport is listed on an internal memo indicating a decrease in flights.
