LINN COUNTY, Mo. -- Voters have approved a measure in Marceline for the city to issue $30 million dollars in revenue bond projects for water and sewer system renovations.

With just over 11% of registered voters responding, the proposal passed by a 126 to 40 margin. The City has faced pressure from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to improve phosphorus and nitrogen from the system and improve inflow and filtration at the wastewater plant.
