MONROE COUNTY — The women charged with hindering prosecuting in connection with an officer-involved shooting in Paris, Missouri last month are now charged with second-degree murder.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the new charges against Lois and Patty Armour were filed in Monroe County Friday.
The charging documents claim Lois and Patty's effort to keep law enforcement from finding Charles Armour at their residence on Oct. 12 led to him dying in a shootout with a task force officer from Randolph County.
Since the incident Lois and Patty have been held at the Randolph County Jail on $100,000 cash-only bonds. They're scheduled to make their initial court appearances at 11 a.m. Monday.
