COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The United States men's soccer team is set to play two South American teams this month as it continues its preparations for next summer's World Cup on home soil.

Among the those on the November roster named by USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino are Columbus Crew goalkeeper Patrick Schulte, defender Max Arfsten, and midfielder Sean Zawadzki.

Schulte, the first active MLS player to record a shutout at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is coming off a 4-0 shutout victory against in Game 2 of Round One Best of-3 series against FC Cincinnati. Arfsten notched a goal and two assist in the game-tying tilt versus Cincinnati and is in line to start his 13th game for the USMNT.
