Marshawn Kneeland ‘s cause of death has reportedly been confirmed by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

If you did not read the tragic news, the 24-year-old defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys died overnight.

“According to a spokesman for the Plano Police Department, officers responded to ‘a welfare concern’ at Marshawn Kneeland’s residence at 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday night. They did not make contact with anyone at the residence,” Dallas Cowboys reporter Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram posted on X .

He also shared the Texas Department of Public Safety statement that confirmed his cause of death was allegedly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The statement also reveals what apparently happened leading up to his death.
