Zohran Mamdani announced an all-female transition team on Wednesday as he began assembling his incoming New York City administration, calling it “the most ambitious policy platform in a generation.”

Speaking in Queens, the 34-year-old mayor-elect said the team would “build a city hall capable of delivering on the promises of this campaign.”
