VIDEO: Little Rock Zoo breaks ground on major expansion

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Officials at the Little Rock Zoo announced that GloWILD, presented by Be Well Arkansas, is returning for its fifth season.

According to a spokesperson, the event begins at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, at the Little Rock Zoo.

Highlights include a Members' reception, Santa visits, a New Year’s Eve celebration, and a Sensory Night designed for guests with sensory sensitivities, officials said.

The event features a new lineup of bright, oversized lanterns, along with engaging interactive activities and themed evenings, all uniquely designed to illustrate animals and nature scenes in vibrant detail, officials said.
