As Thanksgiving approaches and the family is getting ready to come over, it’s time to do some house cleaning and gather my random notes from the past few days.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski decided to hand the play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Tommy Rees. The former Notre Dame quarterback has been an assistant coach in college and the pros since 2015. He made his mark with Alabama and Nick Saban in 2023 and joined the Browns the following season.

I don’t know what Rees can do that Stefanski wasn’t doing. The roster was still the same when he got the job on Nov. 3. The Browns wide receiving core is supposed to get Cedric Tillman back this week. The team averages 15.8 points per game. Thank you, New Orleans and Tennessee, for scoring fewer points per game.
