JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — A man was arrested Nov. 1 during the execution of a warrant by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office and was found in possession of fentanyl and other narcotics.
Deputies served the warrant in the Scarlett Ibis Drive area of Ridgeland, identifying Michael Reeves, who had an active warrant through the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.
While taking Reeves into custody, deputies seized 47.4 grams of a substance presumed to be fentanyl, along with additional narcotics.
Reeves was charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
