A.J. Foyt Racing is filling an open IndyCar Series seat with the 2025 Indy NXT runner-up.

Caio Collet , who won three races and had 10 podium finishes in the IndyCar feeder series, will drive the No. 4 car in 2026, the team announced Thursday.

"It is a dream come true after years of hard work in developing series since my early go-karting experiences," Collet said.

"I was impressed with how he adapted to our car at the recent Mid-Ohio test and I'm very excited to see what he can do in IndyCar," team president Larry Foyt said. "There's no doubt that he will be a strong contender in the battle for Rookie of the Year."
