(NewsNation) — Years after exchanging acting for the royal life, Meghan is making her way back to the big screen.

The Duchess of Sussex will appear in Amazon MGM's “Close Personal Friends,” alongside Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding, according to People magazine.

Meghan was seen on the Pasadena, California, film set Wednesday and is reportedly playing herself in the movie.

"She has a small part. She seemed very relaxed and happy," an insider told People. "She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down-to-earth."

“Close Personal Friends” will follow a “couple that meets and befriends a celebrity couple while on a trip to Santa Barbara. Personal lines get crossed, among other things, and awkward hilarity ensues,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
