Remembrance Day takes place on Nov. 11 to honour and recognize the Canadians who gave the ultimate sacrifice during wartime.
Nov. 11 is a statuary holiday across the country, allowing citizens time to come out and pay their respects to the former — and currently serving — men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces.
