SUFFOLK, Va. — The MMMBT is closed in both directions after a crash involving two tractor-trailers, during which one caught fire, state police shared Thursday afternoon.

This happened around 11:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes.

As of 12:20 p.m., crews are still at the scene and heavy smoke can be seen coming from the car. Traffic is still shut down.
