The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9 off the strength of six takeaways, which the offense turned into 27 points. The Colts tried to make a late run, but a late interception from Daniel Jones to Joey Porter Jr. sealed the win for Pittsburgh. Ahead of that, though, the Steelers did give the Colts a chance to make an improbable comeback.
Wide receiver Roman Wilson tried hurdling a defender, which led to him fumbling the ball and the Colts recovering. Head coach Mike Tomlin called the play “bone-headed” in his Tuesday press conference, but offensive coordinator Arthur Smith reiterated that the Steelers aren’t giving up on the Michigan product.
