A Good Samaritan who found an emaciated Great Dane in Jacksonville is pleading that anyone with information about the incident come forward.

Perrin Todd discovered the dog curled up on the side of the road. The dog’s desperate condition sparked an outpouring of support on social media, with the community begging for someone to save him.

ACPS said the emergency on-call officer quickly arrived and met the person who had picked up the dog. They rushed him to the shelter for urgent veterinary care and launched a cruelty investigation. The dog was named Miracle.
