Peloton has recalled 833,000 of its original series Bike+, because the seat post assembly can break and injure the rider.
The Peloton Original Series Bike+ Model PL02 was sold at Peloton and Dick’s Sporting Goods stores nationwide and online at onepeloton.com, ebay.com, Amazon.com and Dickssportinggoods.com from January 2020 through April 2025 for about $2,495, according to an announcement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The serial numbers on the recalled bikes start with the letter “T.”
The bike measures 4 feet long by 2 feet wide and has an adjustable seat and handlebar. The bike’s serial number is located either inside or behind the front fork, or behind the flywheel. Owners can get help finding the serial number here.
