TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Thomasville Humane is in need of donations for its Pet Food Pantry.

According to a Facebook post on Thursday, the Pet Food Pantry is temporarily closed as it’s currently out of supplies.

“We know this is difficult news, and we’re truly sorry to those who depend on this program,” the post read. “Over the past week, several pet owners have come in seeking help, and our hearts ache having to turn them away because our shelves are empty.”

The pantry runs on community donations and, according to the post, thousands of meals are provided to local pets in need thanks to those donations.

“Without continued support, we simply can’t keep this resource available for families in crisis,” Thomasville Humane said.
