North Marion head coach Jeremiaha Gates makes his players update their Hudl film each week. By Week 4 he realized Damir Williams , who averaged 98 receiving yards a game at that point the season, could do something no Marion County wide receiver has done since Brian Dillard broke 1,000 yards in 2019.

Williams wasn't as shocked. He set the 1,000-yard receiving mark after struggling to produce as a sophomore. The talent was obvious. While slender, he had good size for the position, the speed to beat defenders and the IQ from years of watching his older brother, KJ Kinsler .
