The Kansas City Chiefs need a running back, and Breece Hall wanted a trade. On paper, this could have been a match made in heaven, as the New York Jets sold at the deadline, sending cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately, no deal came to fruition, but it wasn't for a lack of trying.
According to SNY's Connor Hughes, the Kansas City Chiefs tried to trade for Breece Hall, but a deal couldn't go through. Per the report, General Manager Brett Veach and the Chiefs offered a fourth-round pick for Hall's services, but the Jets demanded a third-round pick.
