FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arvest Bank has named a new chief executive officer following the Nov. 1 retirement of Kevin Sabin.

Matt Machen, president and chief operating officer, will assume the CEO role while continuing in his current positions, Talk Business reported Nov. 6.

It was also announced that Yurik Paroubek, formerly chief banking operations officer, has been promoted to COO, where he will oversee the bank’s operational strategy, banking operations, mortgage division, credit administration and technology.

Sabin, who led the Fayetteville-chartered bank as president and CEO since 2002 and became chairman in 2024, will remain chairman of Arvest Bank and continue serving on the board of its holding company, Arvest Bank Group.
