Summoned by a samurai and tickled by the Mandalorian himself, Edmonton stuntman Martin Cochingco has had some serious encounters — and impressive spills — in his relatively short career.
Born the day Snoop Dogg’s Doggstyle came out in 1993, the 31-year-old stunt worker’s biggest credits include prepping battles for MCU comeback Deadpool & Wolverine and doing on-camera stunts in The Last of Us, Snowpiercer and the live action TV Avatar: The Last Airbender — his work bringing him all over the continent.
Cochingco’s stunts on Shōgun — besides getting a face full of mud in the nail-biter battle episode The Eightfold Fence — earned him one of the show’s tsunami of Emmys last fall, in Cohcingco’s case for Out
