The guest of honour at the Fort Erie Airbnb where two young women were executed did some strange things, court has heard.

Trevor Barnett was celebrating his 29th birthday in January 2021 at the notorious party house.

According to the St. Catharines Standard , Barnett testified on Wednesday that murder victims 18-year-old Christine Crooks of Toronto and 20-year-old Juliana Pannunzio of Windsor were alive when he left the party.

However, a Welland jury in the second-degree murder trial of Scarborough rapper Christopher “El Plaga” Lucas heard that following the murders, Barnett deactivated his phone, tried to return a rental vehicle, and allegedly coached other partygoers on what to tell cops.
