Multiple Dallas Cowboys players have taken to social media to share reactions to the tragic passing of teammate Marshawn Kneeland.
The Cowboys confirmed the death of the 24-year-old defensive end via their official website on Thursday morning.
“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” the team said in a statement. “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”
Since then, several players have shared tributes via Instagram, including linebacker Kenneth Murphy and tight end Jake Ferguson.
“Fly high brother,” Murphy wrote on his IG Story, adding a heartbroken emoji.
Ferguson wrote, “Love You Brother,”
