SEDALIA, Mo - The Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission held its annual meeting last night at State Fair Community College's new Ellebracht Agriculture & Mechanics Building in Sedalia.
It marked the first time the commission has held its annual meeting in Pettis County. President of State Fair Community College Dr. Brent Bates served as the keynote speaker. He highlighted the college's growing role in workforce training and its partnership with local industries.
The Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission provides planning and grant assistance to local governments across Pettis, Johnson, Lafayette, and Saline counties.
