St. Augustine grabbed the coveted No. 1 seed in Region 1-4A.

The Yellow Jackets and Choctawhatchee finished with identical 9-1 records — and are both coming off tough losses in the season finale — but St. Augustine nabbed the top seed and the home field advantage that comes with it.

Perennial state powers Jones (Region 2) and Jesuit (Region 3) both earned No. 1 seeds, as did District 15 champion Archbishop McCarthy (Region 4). The top seed in each region is guaranteed three home games.

Defending state champion American Heritage is the No. 2 seed in Region 4.
