PITTSBURGH —

A crash near the 31st Street Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh caused delays and backups Thursday afternoon.

Dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that police, fire and emergency medical services were at the crash near Exit 2 on Route 28. Advertisement

Reports of the crash began to come in around 12:10 p.m.

Just before 1:15 p.m., PennDOT announced that the crash had been cleared and Route 28 was open again.

It is unclear if anyone was injured or what caused the crash. Pittsburgh's Action News 4 will bring you the latest information on the crash when it becomes available.
