ZEBULON, N.C. (WNCN) — Baseball will remain in Zebulon in 2026.

On Thursday, Town of Zebulon officials announced a new baseball team will play at Five County Stadium next year, following approvals by the town and Wake County officials.

The team will be a member of the Coastal Plan League, a collegiate summer league, and begin play in May 2026, according to Zebulon officials.

Fans will be able to help decide the name for the new team by taking part in an online survey. Entries will be accepted through Nov. 21.

According to Zebulon officials, the team will partner with Oz Ball in Australia, allowing Australian players and coaches to compete at Five County Stadium each summer.
