Michigan’s football team has ended a long recruiting drought.

The Wolverines picked up a verbal pledge from Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier 2026 three-star linebacker Aden Reeder on Thursday — three days after he decommitted from Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-3. 210-pounder becomes Michigan’s first addition to its 2026 class since August.

“I’m home! Go Blue!!!” he posted on social media.

The Wolverines had been working hard behind the scenes trying to flip Reeder from the Badgers for weeks. Linebacker has been a top priority for Sherrone Moore’s program this cycle, and Reeder emerged as a top target.

Michigan offered the No. 555 overall prospec t and No. 40 linebacker in the country, per the 2467Sports Composite, on Oct. 21. Reeder then took an official visit to Ann Arbor last week for Michig
