PROVO — Provo police said a man wanted for two counts of aggravated assault was taken into custody after refusing to come out of an RV in Provo on Wednesday night.
According to police, 55-year-old Ronald Campbell of Provo had a warrant for his arrest and was accused of using his RV to run over two people.
Police received information that Campbell was at the Ramada Hotel, located at 1460 S. University Avenue, and began searching for him. The police affidavit stated that Provo police officers saw Campbell entering his RV in the hotel parking lot.
At approximately 7 p.m., officers surrounded the RV to execute the arrest warrant and ordered Campbell to exit the vehicle, but he refused.
