A Fido customer posted on social media that they received a notice from the carrier notifying them of a $5 (plus taxes) monthly fee increase starting with their next bill, on or after December 2.

This price increase may not apply to all customers. However, some Fido customers received a $5 price increase in June , while some users shared that they were receiving monthly bill increases. It seems likely that if you received that $5 price increase in June, you’re not going to be affected by this bill increase — hopefully.

The Fido customer also mentioned that they already received a $3 per month price hike. We noted back in March that some Rogers , Fido mobile users getting a $3 per month price hike in April.
