PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - A gas line rupture has occurred on Edgewood Drive in Pineville, according to the Pineville Police Department.

The affected area is from Medical Park Blvd to the area near Jambo Carwash, which is currently closed due to the leak.

Crews are on scene working to resolve the issue. It is unknown how long the closure will last, but PPD will provide updates as soon as the roadway is reopened.

Please use alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.
