Choosing a name is one of the first big decisions new parents face — and the latest list from BabyCenter offers a peek at what’s resonating in 2025.

According to BabyCenter’s annual rankings, which draw on data from hundreds of thousands of babies born to registered users, the top girl and boy names for 2025 reveal both staying-power and some interesting shifts.

For girls, the top three names remain Olivia, Amelia and Sophia.

For boys, the leader remains Noah, followed by Liam and Oliver.

But a few names dropped out of the top 10 most popular names, while others earned a spot.
