BALTIMORE —
One of the largest coin expos in North America is in Baltimore this week, showcasing collectibles and rare coins, some worth millions.
Among the items at the Whitman Expo , which started Thursday and runs through Saturday at the Baltimore Convention Center, there's an 1804 dollar that's known as the king of American coins and is worth anywhere from $4-6 million.
The expo also features rare money that have Maryland ties. There are also pieces of history on sale, including money that shows King George III trampling the Magna Carta, and actually taking a torch to the city of Annapolis.
"This will probably sell for about $10,000 next week," said John Kraljevich, a coin expert.
