The Michigan Department of Transportation is entering the final stretch of Component 1 in its multi-year Blue Water Bridge plaza expansion project in Port Huron.
In a Nov. 5 news release, MDOT said crews are wrapping up remaining road work this month, including top-course paving, filling pavement gaps and completing approach work.
The work began the week of Nov. 3 to prepare 10th Avenue, Pine Grove Avenue, the Pine Grove Connector and eastbound I-94 to fully reopen by mid-November. Intermittent lane and shoulder closures will be posted as needed while the final steps are completed.
