An Alabama woman who appeared for a bond hearing in court found out that her son was killed in the crash that she allegedly caused.
Delyshia Molette, 34, was in court on Wednesday to answer for a manslaughter charge in connection with a car crash that took place on Monday. According to courtroom reporting by local CBS affiliate WKRG, Mobile police testified that Molette was allegedly hitting speeds of 90 mph in her vehicle before she crashed into a light pole. In the car with her were her two sons, ages 7 and 11 years old. Neither boy was wearing a seat belt, and the 7-year-old was killed.
