Georgia Tech's Brent Key sets the record straight on coaching rumors

Brent Key took Georgia Tech from a pretender in the ACC to one of four teams racing toward the conference championship game. For his efforts, other programs looking for his craftsmanship have come calling. Except Key seems to be content right where he's at.

On Thursday, he shut down the rumors with a powerful statement about his alma mater.

“Since I came back here, since I was named the head coach here, outside of the time with my family, every waking second of my life, has gone towards building this program, to get to the point that it is right now,” Key said via On3 . "It’s just the beginning. Slice me open and see what colors I bleed.”
