Two teens were killed in a crash in New Bedford early Saturday.

Massachusetts State Police responded to a single-car crash on Route 140 South around 2 a.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, troopers observed a gray 2019 Honda Civic off the roadway in a nearby wooded area with significant damage to its passenger side, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.

Two occupants had been ejected from the vehicle, officials said. One of those ejected was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified as Gabriel Bertolino Siqueira, 17, of West Yarmouth, a senior at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.

The second ejected occupant was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. That victim was identified as Anne Urbanski Santos
