The Class 1A bracket is literally in limbo.

After a judge signed an emergency order to temporarily lift The First Academy's postseason ban mere hours before the brackets were set to be announced, the FHSAA opted not to release the Region 2 bracket .

The region, which also includes perennial state power Clearwater Central Catholic and undefeated Carrollwood Day, will not know its first round games until after a court hearing on Nov. 10. That hearing will ultimately decide The First Academy's fate.
