ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A Farmington, Missouri man is accused of not stopping for a traffic stop and leading law enforcement agencies on a chase.
Joseph Woolford, Jr. was arrested and is being held without bond as deputies say formal charges are pending.
According to a Facebook post by St. Francois County Sheriff Jeff Crites , at around 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5 a deputy responded to a report of a careless driver going southbound on Highway 67 toward Bonne Terre.
The deputy found the vehicle, a dark-colored Chevy Blazer, near the Route K overpass.
According to the sheriff, the SUV was missing a wheel, causing sparks to fly underneath it.
When the deputy tried to pull it over, the driver allegedly refused to stop and a chase began.
