SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - Big changes are coming in our weather during the next several days. A strong cold front will bring freezing temperatures to parts of the ArkLaTex early next week. Temperatures could drop nearly 50 degrees from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning. Rain is still looking very doubtful.
Friday temperatures: Temperatures will stay warm on both Friday and Saturday ahead of the front. Look for lows both Friday and Saturday mornings to ease into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Daytime highs will likely soar into the low to middle 80s. Normal lows at this time of year are in the upper 40s, and highs are in the lower 70s.
