LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find more victims of a suspect who they say fraudulently rented apartments in Los Angeles.

The suspect, identified only as "Igor," used other people's personal information to rent apartments in the Hollywood and Larchmont areas in September, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He also is accused of paying property management companies with counterfeit cashier's checks.

The LAPD has released his photo because they believe more people may have been targeted, including landlords and property managers.

Anyone who recognizes him or thinks they may have been scammed are urged to contact detectives at (213) 486-5995.
