Heartland Forest and other agencies that support Niagara residents will benefit from a recent Rona fundraising campaign.
Rona Foundation has announced its third annual Home Sweet Home campaign raised more than $17,500 for four Niagara organizations.
From Sept. 1 to Oct. 12 customers were invited to support the campaign by making donations at the checkout in support of a cause selected by individual stores.
More than $11,500 was raised at the Niagara Falls store, which will benefit Heartland Forest.
Rona in Welland raised $1,800 for Gillian’s Place in St. Catharines, while the St. Catharines store raised more than $900 for Niagara Children’s Centre.
In Grimsby, more than $3,200 was raised in support of GBF Community Services.
