President Donald Trump said Thursday that if the Supreme Court rules against his tariff policy, his administration will have to develop a new plan.

Asked about the high court’s hearing on the tariffs, Trump said, “We did very well yesterday,” but warned that a decision against him would be “devastating for our country.”

“I also think that we’ll have to develop a game two plan,” he added. “We’ll see what happens.”

His comments came a day after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent declined to say whether the administration had a contingency plan, telling reporters, “We’re not going to discuss that now.”
