The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes are gearing up for a road showdown this Saturday against the Purdue Boilermakers, aiming to remain unbeaten as the regular season winds down.

Despite coming off a national championship and in the midst of another title run, Ohio State continues to build for the future. On Thursday, the Buckeyes added a key piece to that puzzle when elite four-star cornerback Jay Timmons officially flipped his commitment from Florida State to Ohio State.

According to Rival300, Timmons is ranked No. 29 nationally and is the No. 2 cornerback in the country.

“I want to compete with the best,” Timmons emphasized.
